Jim Lackey has been calling and teaching the square dance since the revival
in the early 30´s. He has developed a technique for teaching the
dance that has proved almost infalible. Jim has taken groups up to 300
at a time , absolute novices at the dance and has them actually dancing
to his calls thirty minutes later. Jim was the first in the midwest
to take the square dance to the popular hotels and clubs having appered
on floor shows with his dancers at the Edgewater Beach, the Stevens,
the Palmer House and the Sherman hotels in Chicago.
If you like to study patter Jim is well worth listening to. He used ALOT of
patter and some fun stuff too - Enjoy.
