Ed Dulacher. Freeport, Long Island, New York. Downstate, in the heart of New York City, Ed Durlacher was known as an excellent teacher of square dance. Ed held forth at “open-air” square dances on the Mall of Manhattan’s Central Park, to very large numbers (once guesstimated at over 2000!). Ed was perhaps the first individual (after Henry Ford, two decades earlier) to utilize large scale marketing methods to popularize and sell square dance activity. Ever alert to promotion via national advertising and recreation organizations, Ed was a regular advertiser and workshop leader at many annual NRA (National Recreation Association) Conferences.
This CD is a callers course telling you in detail how to approach the art of calling seen from an eastern standpoint. The CD also includes the wonderful instrumental tunes of The Top Hands orchestra.
